Job Descriptions & Responsibilities
Job Title: Assistant Manager
Reports To: Owner
• Functions in the absence of the Owner, as Manager.
• Assists owner in all aspects of the business, including, but not limited to: Answering calls, Booking and Rental Fleets.
• Plans and organizes subordinates into an effective working unit. Selects individual workers and assigns work or tasks to be performed. Interviews and recommends selection of employees for all positions. Initiates and reviews personnel actions affecting subordinates, such as scheduling, leave, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc.
• Coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
• Establishes and monitors job descriptions, task manuals, safety manuals, and employee handbooks for all personnel.
• High school diploma, two (2) years college or management and retail sales training. Minimum of two (2) years experience in management, preferably in a marine or recreational related environment
• Must have strong technical and mechanical ability, strong people skills, and be a good team player
• Ability to swim, CPR and basic first aid training preferred.

Hours to be determined by supervisor. Weekends and summer holidays required, on call for all emergencies and storms.
